Here are my poorly lit desks/workspace. At the bottom right hand corner of the photo is a project I'm working on for Printmaking: a self-portrait. Towards the bottom center of the photo (white box-like object) is a project for Paper Engineering: a tunnel book.

It's a door! A really great door by Matharoo Associates, an architecture firm in India. It's called the curtain door.

I should've been working on my paper instead of window shopping online.

I'm taking a Printmaking and Paper Engineering class this semester and have really enjoyed both classes so far. I recently finished up projects for both classes. For Printmaking, a five-color reduction print on linoleum, and for Paper Engineering, a spread in a pop-up book. For the pop-up book, my classmates and I were given a couple of options: create a spread of heroes in literature or of something that we wanted to do before we die. Half the class went with the first option, and the other half went with the second. I chose the second; I want to visit the Daintree Rainforest in Australia before I die.
See photos of my Printmaking project below. I don't have photos of my pop-up rainforest, but I'll try to get some up when I get my project back. Or if I get my project back. My teacher's going to bind the spreads together to create two class pop-up books.
